Crowd Valley has released several new tools and development kits to allow developers to build their own online finance marketplaces quicker than ever before. We will be running a webinar on Tuesday 15th of November 2016 at 8AM PDT (4PM UK) to show how you could now set up and run your own basic platform on top of the Crowd Valley infrastructure in just a few days.
Setting up and launching a full online finance marketplace or even moving some of your firm's existing manual operations online can take many months from the initial scoping and planning process through to full launch. Platforms that run on top of the Crowd Valley API can be extremely complex, as they need to take into account user behaviors, operational business requirements, compliance, securities regulations, and many other factors.
However, many customers also have short-term needs to set up a 'minimum viable product' that can demonstrate the basic functionality of a finance platform to their initial stakeholders, such as investors, regulators, or early customers.
With this second group in mind, Crowd Valley has launched a series of Starter Applications, which are designed to be downloaded and installed in minutes as soon as you sign up for your development credentials.
The first Starter Application comes with our 'Mountain View' front-end theme, and it can be seen in live mode here: https://starterapp.crowdvalley.com. You can test out this application in live mode, including signing up as a new user, or signing in with a built-in demo account, and then you can download the full source code for this application and connect it to your own credentials.
The second released Starter Application runs on the 'San Francisco' theme, which can be downloaded from our GitHub account.
Both of these Starter Applications run in PHP using the Symfony framework, a well-supported open source web application framework that is used by many live Crowd Valley customers. Once you have downloaded the code, you will be able to add your own credentials and then update and adjust the platform's look & feel and back-end processes according to your requirements. For further help and support in building on top of the Starter Applications, feel free to get in touch with us to find a suitable development partner with experience of working with the Crowd Valley API.
