We collect information from you when you create a network (a “Network”), when you create (or any other user creates) a user account in order to participate as a user (a “User”) on any Network (a “User Account”), when any user without a User Account accesses information on any Network, when any entrepreneur establishes an account on a Network in order to provide Users with disclosure regarding the entrepreneur’s company, idea and/or an offering of securities to potential investors, and when any User invests in an offering presented by any entrepreneur (if applicable). In such situations, you or the User may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or certain bank account information (for use only in relation to any investment you might make. What do we use your information for? Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
The email address you provide may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your Network and/or User Account, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails that do not pertain to, as applicable, the Network you created, your User Account or the companies in which you have invested, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email. How do we protect your information? We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you create a Network or User Account, when you make an investment and any time you enter, submit, or access your personal information. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/bank information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, all of whom are required to keep the information confidential. Upon establishing a Network or a User Account, and from time to time going forward (in accordance with any applicable state or federal laws), your private information (account information, financials, etc.) will be kept securely on file in order to facilitate your future investments and communication with the Crowd Valley. Do we use cookies? Yes. You also have the right to limit certain personal information from being displayed on your User Account for the public to view. You may limit the information yourself when you are signed into your User Account.
